J. Burns Smith, Jr. has been an Internet Consultant affiliated with WSI since August of 2003.
Located in Madison, Mississippi, Burns has clients across the southeastern United States. Besides customized website design, Burns specializes in providing internet marketing services to his clients.
This includes managing pay per click advertising campaigns, search engine optimization and offering both opt-in email marketing services and email prospecting programs.

Burns has served on various advisory boards including the WSI International Internet Consultant Advisory Council.
Besides having his own consulting firm, Burns is also an Area Rep for WSI and has planning and training responsibilities in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia.

Burns has had extensive training within his field both within the WSI network as well as with affiliated vendors such as ReachLocal.
He completed his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Management and also earned an MBA at the University of Houston. Prior to having his own internet marketing consulting business, Burns had roles in both sales management and general management in the insurance industry.
