Tampa Bay’s WEDU-TV’s “Be More” Awards set for second year

Public television station WEDU-TV is again encouraging the nonprofit community and others to “be more” in every walk of life. To that end, the station’s second annual WEDU Be More Awards, a sought-after honor for nonprofit organizations throughout west central Florida, is now scheduled for Jan. 18, 2007, at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa.

The program is designed to shine the spotlight on “unsung heroes” of the region’s nonprofit community at an ceremony and luncheon celebrating efforts made from Sept. 1, 2005, to Aug. 31, 2006.
